Overview
About Me
I graduated university about a year ago and began working a full time job in Burlington, IA for ABB. I have been abroad multiple times and got the travel bug while in Germany for a summer (summer of 2015). I love going to breweries, wineries, distilleries and trying local products. I also enjoy camping, hiking, and everything else that mother nature has to offer us. If I'm traveling on my own I usually walk around the city looking at the public art, architecture, and trying to learn as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I love meeting new people and traveling. I hope to connect with people who can show me around their home city/town and get me to experience the culture. Once I own a place I plan on hosting but I also want to couch surf at other people's place and learn how to be a good host from them first.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped plan a canoeing trip down the Rio Grande just outside of Big Bend National Park. We were only canoeing for a few days but we got to camp in the most secluded canyons I have ever been in. The night sky had virtually no light pollution and we were able to see the Milky Way band at night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about philosophy and different cultures that I've participated in. As a traveler I've been able to listen to many different perspectives about the world and love discussing new ones.
I've been listening to more travel podcasts for tips and tricks to save money so I might know an extra nugget of information for you to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Deep conversations about almost anything, I find everything interesting. I've had a lot of messy roommates in the past few years so I will always help with cleaning my mess; such as dishes, taking out trash, and not leaving garbage laying out everywhere.
