ABOUT ME

I grew up in Utah and since then have moved to Texas, then Missouri (where I met my husband), from there we both moved back to Utah, in 2016 we moved to Maryland and a few days ago we closed on our first home in Pennsylvania. We have been together since July 2010 and got married in San Diego July 2015. He has a bachelors degree in interactive digital media with a games certificate; basically an elaborate way of saying video game design. He currently works at Firaxis Game Studio as a marketing artist and strives to continue advancing his career. I am a school bus driver for Baltimore County Public Schools and previously I drove buses for the University of Utah before we moved here. We are pretty laid back people who love the outdoors, good company and great food. I would consider myself a minimalist looking to live an intentional life.

PHILOSOPHY

Things don't bring happiness experiences do, you will not look back at the end of your life wishing you had filled your life with more stuff. I believe in fighting for your life, it's your life and its all you've got, fight to be happy, fight for love, fight to learn, and work your ass off doing it. I'm not a religious person and I don't believe that you have to be. I believe life is the thing that's worth working for, and then enjoy it as much as is humanly possible. I don't want to spend it walking on eggshells to avoid pain, pain will happen (this is easier said than done). Take the risks you have to take and don't spend time living in guilt or regret life is too short. If you are avoiding risks to avoid pain it is a lost cause there will be pain. "Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindsides you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday." - The Sunscreen Song. I've been grateful for the hardest time in my life because now nothing can stop me, if I got through that I can get through anything, and I'd love to share that with the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've loved the couch surfing experience as it brings more adventure to our lives. So ready to meet more people and get to know more about peoples lives and stories. So far we have had great people stay with us and have gained interesting experiences.

兴趣

I am very outdoorsy and spontaneous, I like road tripping and camping on a whim. I rock climb, hike, play soccer, much up for anything athletic and adventurous, but also am down to go to a winery or two. I love to travel and look forward to doing more of it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I (Shea) spent a week up in the mountains by myself, I hauled all my food up there and had a lone adventure in the mountains above Salt Lake City. It was one of the hardest things I've done but it felt like I had truly accomplished something by the time my husband and my friends hiked up to come get me.

I wish to teach people to believe in themselves and to fight for their happiness, its totally worth it. I wish to learn anything and everything, even if I don't agree with your perspective I'm open and willing to discuss. I want to share my life and my happiness and my time with people that cherish their time as well. I truly love that I did it and was able to take care of myself up there.
