Overview
About Me
My biggest dream in life is to travel and experience other cultures while connecting and helping people. I used to want to be a lawyer but now I'm a college dropout pursuing a life filled with creativity and being my own boss. I have a wide range of creative facets, but I currently operate mainly as freelance creative director specializing in photography and a performance poet. I value freedom more than anything. Freedom to do what I want, when I want, where I want, and with who I want. I'm super adventurous and become depressed if I don't spend enough time exploring and discovering new places. I'm outgoing and friendly, but also extremely introverted.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd like connect with people all around the world and grow my friendships across the globe. I think this community has some of the most awesome, open minded people.
Interests
My interests are all over the place since I'm open to trying new things. My main interests would have to be skimboarding, going on outside adventures, reading, and photography. I love the outdoors and I consider myself an adrenaline junkie/adventure seeker. I can also be pretty laid back and spend the day relaxing and just talking.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is also all over the place from Country to Reggae to Bachata to Rap and Pop music. I find myself really diverse in the music department. As far as movies, I love action and adventure films, dramas, chick flicks, and documentaries. I REFUSE to watch horror films. I am also a huge book nerd and love reading Epic Fantasies and sometimes SciFi but I also enjoy some of the classics or non-fiction as long as the subject interests me. Lately I've been into a lot of self improvement/growth books. I'm all for constant growth, creating good energy, and attracting positive vibes so I've been seeking out books like "You are a Bad Ass" by Jen Sincero, "Stop Saying You're Fine" by Mel Robbins, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a two week road trip from Florida to California and back when I was younger. My dad was a cross country truck driver who often did routes with one other person. The guy who used to drive with had to back out of the load and my dad asked if I wanted to join him. I spent 2 weeks sleeping in an 18 wheeler, showering at truck stops, and checking out the landscape from Miami, Florida through places like Salt Lake City, up through California, into Portland, Oregon, back down and all the way back to Florida.
During that trip I fell in love with California and vowed to go back. In November of 2016 I flew into LAX with $20 to my name. I spent the next 2 weeks hitchhiking and using public transportation to get down to San Diego and back up to LA in 2 weeks. Most of the time I slept outside and showered in alleyways while the other half was sleeping on couches. That was the most eye opening experience and showed me traveling is possible no matter how little money you have.
PS I'm still in love with California and plan on retiring there.
Teach, Learn, Share
Open to teaching anyone the basics of photography, how to skimboard, and welcome to practice speaking English with anyone trying to learn. :) Always down to take fellow couch surfers on an adventure or show someone some of my favorite spots.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Awesome cooking - I like to whip things up with 0 recipes and a bit of "hmm..I think that'll go well together". A poetry chapbook and your very own performance. Great conversation and a willingness to help around the house whenever I can.
