Hello, my name is Sholakudin but you can call me Mr. Udin or just Udin. I am an English Teacher in the city of Lumajang. I live in the village of Banjarwaru 2km from the city center. I have an English course at my house and I have students come almost every afternoon. I live with my wife, Qoimatus, and my son, Adzikri. My wife also teaches math at my course.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in meeting new people from around the world. I hosted a Peace Corps volunteer at my school for two years and he suggested to me to join couch surfing. Before couchsurfing I met cyclists from New Zealand and Netherlands around Lumajang and I invited them to stay at my house. I hope couchsurfing will allow me to meet new people and be able to practice my English and help my students learn English too.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Justin Bieber a long time ago but now he has changed. My absolute favorite though has to be Westlife, they were very popular in Indonesia. I really like action movies and especially Jet Lee. I like learning from English Books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Taking my students to Bromo to meet foreigners so they can practice their English. It was very successful and the students are very motivated.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you stay at my house I can teach you about tourist places in Lumajang or East Java, Indonesian language, Indonesia culture, Islam, or anything you want. I want to learn English and learn about different cultures so we can have cross cultural understanding. I have a simple home but what I have I will share with you.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I have no plans for traveling right now. Someday I hope I can travel and see the places my friends have told me about.
