Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, the locals especially to really learn their cultures and their country, deeper than just a tourist perspective. I'm always on a tight budget since I'm living on my own and currently still looking for a permanent job, so it's always good to save up in some areas when you can while traveling. Besides what's the fun in traveling if I only stay in a fancy hotel and go with the tour bus?
