About Me

My current mission is to take my camera to the deepest depths, highest peaks, busiest intersections and quietest retreats in the world. Let it be the witness to me living my life to its fullest.

My world revolves. Evolves. (Occasionally devolves). And though I know that it will move without my effort, I refuse to allow it to do so. I enjoy the simplicity afforded by a cup of coffee. Instant is best, but brewed is better. And is further improved by conversations necessitating many refills.

I have lived in Charlottesville, Shanghai, Boston and NYC, have travelled lots of places around the world, but I still consider Manila home. Because it's more fun in the Philippines.

I have brought my camera to craters of volcanoes, middles of jungles, and the depths of the abyss. And I will continue to do so at every opportunity that comes my way. I am starved for the company of people like me. I need artists, photographers, musicians, who can see the beauty of this world with me.

Thrice weekly, I cartwheel, sing, dance and fight in capoeira - a Brazilian art. Each session I relearn the true meaning of exertion.

I exist in a developing country, where the word “developing is midway between a euphemism and a misnomer. Faith is kept by my generation: that through our efforts, the Philippines will see its promise fulfilled.

carpe diem, memento mori.
