I'm from the USA but I live in Poland (currently traveling in Armenia). This has confused a lot of people that I've met on here, so I'm just letting you know up front.

In August 2022, my now-wife and I went on an 8 month hitchhiking/backpacking journey that turned into almost 2 years of nonstop travel. Every day has been better than the last and I'm extremely grateful for this.

We both work, so please only request to stay with us if you're comfortable with spending time by yourself around the city. We'll try our hardest to make time to meet you and do something together, but no promises.

We are happy to host other travelers. If you want to stay with us, all I ask is that you read my entire profile. Let me know in your message that you did. I'll know immediately if you didn't and I will decline your request without remorse!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Half of my trips are solo. I like meeting people and making new connections, which this app has helped me with a lot. I used to be extremely introverted. Still am, but less so now thanks to CS 😎

Books- Lately travel reportages have been my favorite. Also Orientalism by Edward Said.

Movies- I'm not crazy about Marvel movies or other franchises with 4+ sequels, nor am I a Disney adult. I like directors like Krzysztof Kieślowski, Agnieszka Holland, Abbas Kiarostami, Agnes Varda, and more. But Borat is still one of my favorite movies of all time.

I also like watching Youtube videos- from quality content creators to shitposts and meme accounts. Some favorites are: Planeta Abstrakcja, Bald and Bankrupt (controversial as he may be), and Channel 5
