About Me

I left home for a 2 month holiday and 6 years later I still haven’t stopped! Had the time of my life exploring New Zealand, Australia and America. Briefly back home in Scotland until the next adventure in Canada!

Looking to do all I can to delay being an 'adult'! Adventures, wine and dogs keep me happy. Lover of sport (particularly lacrosse) and keeping active in general, primarily because of my love for all food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be travelling alone for my first time (in New Zealand - and now AUS) and would love to meet people through this to go on adventures with and explore. I'm on a mission to meet like-minded people, see beautiful views, educate myself and tick off a few things on my bucket list. I think we can get caught up in life and without knowing it wish it away. I want to take a break to breath and embrace all the opportunities i'm lucky enough to take and I'm excited to see where it will lead me.

An added bonus would be getting a dog fix along my travels! The hardest thing about leaving home was leaving my two (not so young) puppies in Scotland. I love all animals, but dogs are winners. I ran a Dog Agility business for years, always up for the challenge of teaching dogs new tricks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 2653 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail

Teach, Learn, Share

Skills that come to mind first are throwing (as in pottery, on a wheel), dog agility and lacrosse. How useful those may be I can not guarantee anything, but they're fun!

Also addicted to scuba diving.

I'd love to be shown more sports and adventures and love sharing fitness/health ideas with business minded people :) Completed my Level 3 Personal Training Qualification before starting to travel and also interested in food psychology.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is where i'd love to be able to say i'm a talented chef and will make you the best meals you've ever had, however, i'd be stretching the truth a little. Where I lack culinary skills I make up with my cleaning abilities! All in all I am willing to get stuck into just about anything to show my appreciation :)
