I am a student at Trent University in Peterborough, ON. My interests include dance, musical theatre, reading and trying new things. I am studying to be a teacher and have a hunger for travelling. I think that we always have something to share with the world yet always have something to learn too. That's why I think that travelling is such a unique and fulfilling experience. I've been to Europe once before on a high school trip and have been waiting for my chance to go back.

I'm couch surfing because I value the adventure of experiencing someone else's culture. I plan to visit Europe and would love to have the opportunity to meet new people and see their city from their point of view. I think that couch surfing provides the perfect chance to help out fellow travellers and contribute to an amazing experience!

- Dance, I've been dancing since I was 4 and have done jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical and tried all kinds of other types as well.
- Musical theatre, I have performed in shows, choreographed shows and stage managed shows.
- Reading, from historical fiction to fantasy, I love being taken to a new world.

I love all kinds of music - I don't really have a favourite. However, I would say that my musical taste is most heavily influenced by my older brother who has been in a band since I can remember. Favourite band: Lifestory Monologue

I'm a movie lover of all types of movies! I've seen and enjoyed so many that I think it's too hard to choose a favourite. Five top picks though would have to be Mona Lisa Smile, Pearl Harbour, The Help, About Time and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Also, anything Disney! I'm definitely a Disney nerd.

I'm a fan of many tv shows as well. Some of my favourites have been Friday Night Lights, Parks and Recreation, Friends, The Office, Smallville, Mad Men, Criminal Minds, The 100, Suits, Reign and probable more that I can't think of right now.

I've gone through lots of different phases for book genre interests from historical fiction to fantasy to mystery to sappy romance. A stand out favourite book for me was, Dead Poet's Society. I would say that book had the most influence over me.

I think I can share my own perspective and my eagerness to explore. I think that sharing experiences and ideas is the most worthwhile part of travelling.

I can also share my two amazing friends, Emma and Michelle. On my trip to Europe this summer, I will be travelling with my friend Emma for the first half of the trip. Emma and I met back when we were about 5 years old in a dance class. For the second half of my trip, I will be travelling with my best friend from Trent, Michelle. They are both kind and fun people - I'm very lucky to have them as travel partners.
