Overview
About Me
I live on a small farm with my family, wife and two children, some sheep, hen and cats.
Our home is situated nearby the lake of Hornborga, a famouse location for birds and ornitologists. In the spring here arrives thousands of cranes and allmost the same amounts of birdwatchers.
The landscape is beautiful and well suited for hiking with bike.
We run a small scale organic cultivation of vegetables and fruit trees. Besides that I make my living as an arborist and forest worker.
We speake english and some spanish (not fluently but I´m a hispaniofile and realy love to speak spanish!)
Guests are welcome when we have the time, especially if they like to participate a bit in the everyday work of the farm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me the most exciting thing by traveling is to meet and talk to people.
So that is what I prefare to do when I´m on the road (occasionally). It´s also the best way to get some local knowledge.
When I´m at home (mostly) I get the same opportunity to meet new people when they come to my home. It also brings the good thing that I don´t need to travel around, cause I get to knew nice fellows anyway.
