Been living in Germany for 3 and a half years.... Before that lived in both Spain and Slovakia. From Scotland originally, although you wouldnt know it from my lack of accent.

Books: Dystopian futury stuff like 1984, Brave New World and a selection of Phillip K Dick. Also, historical and political non-fiction.

Movies: Anything that's good in my eyes, but have a soft spot for Sci Fi: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, Alien and some miscellaneous: Ken Loach, There Will Be Blood and other Paul Thomas Anderson films... Many many more.

Music: 'Krautrock' (Kraftwerk, Neu!, Can, Cluster, La Dusseldorf....) Always had a soft spot for Radiohead and like more 'alt rock' and electronica, (Sonic Youth, Jesus and Mary Chain, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada)
