ABOUT US
I have been Couchsurfing solo and with friends for a while, but now my girlfriend, Laura, and I are adventuring together. We have been dating for 3 years and I am excited to share the amazing experiences I have had in CS with her.
She and I both love the outdoors/running/hiking, meeting friendly people, and sharing experiences/fun
From my original profile:
Outdoor adrenaline junkie
Big on running...always bring my shoes on a trip
Sucker for a good view
Ever since I was young, any extra money I had pretty much went to travel and concerts
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be present as much as possible and embrace every moment I can; both good and bad
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I grew up with a Latin family that always loved having people over. So before joining CS, it was common. Now, like all things the internet has expanded the fun. I attend CS events every now and then too.
If you’re interested in the different type of surfing, I always enjoy taking my couchsurfers to the beach and trying out the waves. If you’ve never done it before, it’s not a problem.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I’m always game to meet new people so whether it's hosting, traveling with, or surfing, I wanna do as much as I can. I had tons of fun surfing couches in Europe and Argentina.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One is tough...
- Skydiving over the Mexico/US border was pretty awesome
- If you’re into hiking, the 24-mile Nepali Coast trail on Kauai has been my favorite so far
- If you’re into gorgeous non-water views, biking through the Tuscan countryside was unforgettable
- Adrenaline junkie: canyoning the Swiss alps
- Best cultural experience: backpacking through multiple countries for 3 months
- one I can say most haven’t done: Looking down on the earth upside down going 250 mph feeling 5x earth's gravity
One of the craziest was probably weaving through the busy streets of Mumbai, India on a tiny motorcycle
Teach, Learn, Share
If you’re interested in flying, I may know a thing or 2. Laura is a physician assistant and knows a huge amount about medicine.
Before becoming a pilot I did a few other things that I’m happy to share.
I like to learn and am always surprised with how much I enjoy talking with Couchsurfers.
