About Me

I'm an open-minded, eager traveler who loves to experience downtown life in various cities. I want to experience as much as I can in order to tell more stories in my writings/films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having local friends is way better than having to rely on Google! My travels so far have proven so and I'm looking forward for more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous is my all-time favorite film. I guess you can deduce everything else from that ... I'm quite a William Miller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I impulsively went to Egypt post-revolution through AIESEC with minimum preparation and stayed for 1,5 months. I was almost arrested upon arrival because the airport officer didn't believe that there's an AIESEC in Tanta.

Never thought an Asian could be thought a terrorist, but you never know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an active tutor in my community, let it be about nonfiction writing (I write film critiques in a local webzine) in my alma mater to clay modeling and acrylic painting in my university. Sharing is definitely a passion of mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach legit Indonesian. Like, grammatically correct Indonesian most Indonesians have troubles with. I can also teach you Jakarta slang, which is pretty useful and widely used.

I bring Indonesian food with me everywhere. It's the best. I also make some killer Indomie recipes.

I wash my own dishes and take care of my own laundry, it's just part of my receptive culture. Also, I have very high tolerance for inconvenient accommodations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Egypt, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In
