ABOUT ME

Well I'm an easy going guy. Friend and charming. I take life serious and fun. Traveling is the way of living in my world. I love traveling. Smashing different borders. I'm so humble, I accept life as it is :)
However, I think I might be a little lost if I just decided to visit some random places on my own. I'd like to utilize couchsurfing to connect with locals of wherever I decide to travel as I feel like this would make the experience a lot more memorable. However, I'm not sure how feasible this would be. I don't think I would be a very attractive person to host (considering I have no reviews or prior surfing or hosting experience myself) and I'm also kind of limiting the people who would potentially host me (I want people who would like to take an active part of my stay - I'm not looking for a tour guide but someone who is excited about wherever I decide to travel to and would like to give me "their view" of said location). I consider myself extremely friendly and easy to get along with, however I understand allowing strangers from the internet into your house may require a bit more than just me saying that.
Any thoughts on the feasibility of this idea? I'm not looking for a free ride, I can finance the travel, food, entertainment, etc. I just thought this would be vastly more fun than just going to random places on my own and staying in hotels.
The upside is that I'm not really set on specific places really, so maybe I could format my trip based on people who would offer to host me and have a passion for where they live.
