About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have a twinkle in my eye when I'm 81 that says 'yes, I really lived my life!'

ABOUT ME

I love to meet intelligent people and discuss important stuff like spirituality and what's going on with the environment - there are alot of interesting people out there with great views. I have a fantastic job that I love. I get to be outdoors a lot and instruct on Archery and use High and Low Ropes.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to learn and evolve. I love the fact that something that seemed scary last year, or the year before can feel easy this year if you give it a go and realise it's doable. I love to grow my confidence and my ability to do things by myself. I like to set an example to my kids that it's always possible to learn and grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to explore the world and make connections with open minded, friendly people to remind me it is a warm and safe place, with lots of good in it. In return I'm really happy to accompany people if they visit England.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience was in Manhattan, New York and I had an absolute ball! Couchsurfing really is the best thing ever invented. I feel I've made some lifelong friends and everyone I met was interesting, generous, warm and friendly. I saw NYC through the eyes of the locals, which made it so much more interesting and memorable. I hope this was the first of many experiences.

Interests

Music, singing (I like karaoke), guitar, dancing (Salsa and Ceroc), hill walking, running, reading spiritual books, geeking out on my Mac and iPod, learning about most things. Volunteering at a Community Land Initiative (farm), camping, travel, getting outdoors.
