About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To help others discover the awesomeness that is Seattle.
ABOUT ME
I'm Jeremy, 28 years old, originally from New England. I grew up in a northern Maine town that likely had more moose than people living in it... seriously. I've lived on the west coast of the U.S. since 2004... spent six years in southern California but fell in love with Seattle during a visit and knew it was a city that I was meant to be in. Been here over a year and have zero regrets, except that I didn't find Seattle sooner!I'm a huge soccer (football) fan and can't wait for the Sounders season to start in March. I'm also into other sports and like staying active as much as possible. I've run a few 5Ks recently and hope to work my way up to a marathon in the not-too-distant future. Another of my favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors is to go kayaking on one of the many bodies of water in the area (though this hobby is on hold until warmer weather rolls back in). When I'm not working up a sweat, I'm usually in search of food, which works great because Seattle has so many awesome little restaurants and cafes on offer. I could live here for 100 years and probably not run out of interesting places to get my nom on.Other interests, in no particular order, include: music, movies, TV, politics, ping-pong, and hiking. I've yet to try snowboarding but I'm really looking forward to doing that sometime this winter! As far as my couch goes, check the info on the left for the scoop on that.
PHILOSOPHY
Live like there's no tomorrow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Available to host anytime! Hopefully I'll be able to find time to do a bit of traveling in the upcoming year. I've seen many different parts of the U.S., but not much beyond that, unfortunately!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had my first CouchSurfing experience about a year ago and the experience helped me decide to relocate from California to Seattle. Now that I'm settled in, I'm looking forward to hosting those in need of a couch whenever possible.
