Overview
About Me
For many years I was a legal alien. Throughout my 20's, I lived at worked in a variety of places from China in east to Guatemala in west. I still travel, although not to the same extent as I have two kids and have settled to live just north of Copenhagen.
But I guess some basics stay the same; I'm an adventurous girl searching to enjoy life to the full.
Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always loved the concept of surfing couches, and I have done it in countries all over. However, I discovered how easy it gets through Couchsurfing just before ending my ten years adventure, and I never got to use it much. So far most of my surfing has been done without organized travellers' sites, but I'm looking forward to doing it even more now.
I have met so many interesting people all over the world, and now that I have given up being a nomad myself, I am eager to give something back.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have read so many books that making a list doesn't make any sense. While traveling, I enjoy reading about the coutries where I am especially historically acurate (semi)fiction.
I enjoy music, I wouldn't live without. Latin rythms are obviously better when it comes to dancing; jazz is among my favourites both at home and live; musical is another story, another life.
For movies I'm not a huge fan, not that I don't like watching a movie now and then, but as long as it doesn't involve too much car race or motor saw massacres, I'm good. But frankly speaking, my computer rather plays musicals (made into movies) or TV series (coupling, Ally, Dharma&Greg...).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do something amazing every day: I wake up and live another day!
Less philosophically:
- dancing salsa two months (nonstop, pretty much) in Cuba
- teaching English in a far-from-reality, muslim town in the Chinese wasteland
- falling in love...
- meeting old friends after years abroad (that's a truly amazing feeling)
