Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and share experiences! I love meeting people who actually live in the place where I'm traveling--it gives an entirely new perspective to the place.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music! Sometimes I'm told I have no music taste because I will dance to literally whatever has been put on (have danced to sound of silence before--don't know how) Favourite book is House of Spirits by Isabel Allende :)) I try to read almost anything-- I especially love books related somehow to anthropology!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I went hiking and camping/yurt living in rural Kyrgyzstan for 2 weeks. Went to the world nomad games where I earned 800 som in a Kyrgyz dance circle! Also crashed a Kazakh wedding just once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to be taught new things and I think conversation is such a great way to do that. I think we can learn and teach so much by listening.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I always bring my art supplies so can paint or draw a portrait of you in our time together! If your interested, I can teach you a bit of flamenco--I've been dancing for over 10 years :)) If not, can bring some wine, or a cook a good curry!
