About Me

I am currently a senior studying International Relations and Environmental Sustainability at American University in the United States. I have spent my last two semesters studying abroad in both New Zealand and Germany, both of which were amazing for different reasons. This past year has made me want to see more, get to know more people/ places, and experience life from different perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I love traveling but hate the cost that comes along with it :( Mainly though I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people in the places I want to travel to. I hate city or country hopping when traveling. I like the get to know the places I travel to. I think this is best done by meeting up with locals and letting them show you why their country is so great.

Interests

-HIKING! and everything that comes with being outdoors. Some of my interests include skiing, riding, biking, and I've been trying to get better at rock climbing

I love being outside. It's the best feeling in the world. I love the warmth, reading outside under the sun with a beautiful view. I also love summer nights with friends around a campfire stargazing, playing music, and talking about life.

Of course I love traveling and making memories by experiencing new cultures and learning new languages

I love long bus / car rides with pretty views and good music to listen to

I love food!

I like getting past small talk and really getting to know a person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In New Zealand I spent a day hitch hiking in order to meet up with the rest of my friends who were camping out. After I got there we spent the entire next day hiking and ended up at a bush rave where we danced the entire night away. Definitely one of my favorite experiences.

Another funny experience happened when I was stranded in Bali during my last finals week because of a volcanic eruption... I finally was able to get back barely in time to take my exam but only after spending countless nights sleeping in airports in places I'd never heard of before.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
