Hi Hi! My name is Sophie Perry and I am 18 years old. I grew up in Los Angeles CA, recently graduated highschool, and am living in Dowagiac, MI at One World Center. Here I am in an 18 humanitarian program where I will become a Development Instructor, and spend 6 months in Africa working as a DI on projects throughout Malawi. I am quite an energetic person. I am pretty easy going, I am open to all music, movies and food, willing to try anything within reason. Some of my passions are animals, humanitarian work, and drag queens! I spent my last six months in LA volunteering at Animal Tracks in Santa Clarita, an exotic animal santuary that offers hands on experiences with monkeys, foxes, armadillos, roos, and more! hly recomend booking a tour if you're ever in the area! Since I was 15, I have had a fascination with drag queens, and will happily give you the whole rundown on drag culture, and msybe even perform a bit of a make over if you're interested ;) Look forward to meeting you!

At the begining of August, 2018, I joined a humanitarian program called One World Center, located in Dowagiac, MI. I joined couch surfing so that my team of 8 could find places to stay while fundraising in other cities for the next six months!

Música, películas y libros

I am not much of a reader, but The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings trilogy have always been special to me. The Lord of the Rings movies are also my favorites, as well as Grease, Rocky horror picture show, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, and more. People always say that they will listen to any type of music. That is quite a cliche, I know, but I can listen to and appreciate any music you throw my way. Rap, rock, pop, R&B, and I can even get behind some country, unlike alot of people my age. Some of my favorite artists are Madonna, Guns n Roses, Eminem, David Bowie, and, my musical guilty pleasure, Tim McGraw... but sh, thats a secret.

Hands down the most amazing experience of my life THUS FAR, was the two week trip I took to Malawi, Africa, over the summer of 2017. I, along with 10 other highschool students, volunteered with an organization called BuildOn, and traveled to a village in Malawi to fund, and assist in the construction of a primary school. I was not there for long, but was changed forever as a person, and was inspired to join this amazing 18 month program I am in now, and begin my life of humanitarian work.
