CURRENT MISSION to be a good guy and to soak up as much knowledge and as many positive experiences as i can during my time on this planet! ABOUT ME 1. Born in a small north Florida town 2. Lived in that town for 18 years 3. Started my international travels by saving up money at a horrible fast food job when I was 16 - I am the first person in my family that I know of to have or have had a passport 4. Learned a new language in my late teens. 5. Finished my first stint at university and then ran off to another continent 6. Made books for four years 7. Moved to my favourite city and been here every since Of course so much more happened in between but that's a decent brief summary. PHILOSOPHY Pacifism is the closest thing to a religion I have. Avowing physical violence is easy but I hope that I also well on the way to freeing myself from any chance of commiting acts of verbal or mental violence. I hope that whatever challenges come my way I can face them without anger or bitterness or the urge to spread my pain to other human beings. Hope that makes sense ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite books are The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, 1984 by George Orwell - ok I have a thing for dystopian literature ;-) but I have so many wonderful books from mysteries to sci fi to history its impossible to put the many that have impressed me in this little box. Movies - Blade Runner, Polanski's Chinatown and the Last Emperor are the two that I could probably call favourites
