About Me
Hello world, I'm a web designer from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Though I've always wanted to travel, until recently, all my money has been going into paying off my education. Now that it's all paid off, I am eager to get out there and explore as much of the world as I can while I can. I majored in biology back in Tennessee, and I have an inordinate interest in bugs and plants- they're usually the first things I notice when I travel to a new place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The world is full of colorful and interesting people, and we're more connected and alike than popular culture would have us believe. Meeting new people has never been my strong suit, but I've been working on it, and it's something I'd like to get better at and more comfortable with.
Interests
When I'm not writing code or seeking out new bugs or plants, I'm dabbling in writing of my own. I don't claim that any of it is good, but they say practice makes perfect. I guess you could say that I'm a sports person if you count refereeing a sport. I reffed soccer back in college and I've since strapped on a set of skates and now I ref roller derby.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well the Harry Potter and Hunger Games books are my guilty pleasures; I keep going back to them, and they seem to be conversation topics anyone can get into. Otherwise, I try to get through at least one audiobook per month during my daily commute.
Teach, Learn, Share
There are so many little oddball things I am interested in; it would be impossible to list them all. I never miss an opportunity to teach someone about plants or insects (especially spiders)- I think they're all underrated. I've been into drawing anime for a while, and I'd love the challenge of fulfilling requests.
