About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see, to experience, to learn, educate and share. To travel and live outside my tiny little world of Winnipeg. To begin a permaculture farm and give back to the land that gives me so much.
ABOUT ME
I am a friendly person, open-minded and open-hearted, always willing to try something new and learn new things, and I love to help people in whatever way possible.
I am an animal lover, and even the mean ones tend to like me back. :P I believe in the fundamental interconnectedness of all things, living and non-living.
I am an activist, and a firm believer in the fact that our system is broken and needs replacement.
PHILOSOPHY
I do my best to follow an anarchistic life-style. This means that I believe in making my own decisions and determining my own course in life. I believe that people are capable of governing themselves and should have control over their own lives, not have them dictated by governments and corporations.
People are fundamentally good, and not inclined towards harming each other. It is this sick, ailing society that driver people toward madness and violence against each other. World hunger and poverty would be easy to solve is people could be self determining and have control over their lives and land, rather than be denied the basic tools of survival unless they have x amount of dollars. What is a dollar anyway? A symbol of an economic system where a few benefit, a few live in a strange middle class, and the vast majority are subject to poverty, slavery and starvation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While in Mexico, my partner and I went on a night dive where it was just the two of us and the dive master. The water was almost pitch dark and visibility was almost nil without the light. I spotted a baby octopus, we encountered a barracuda that was over five feet long and almost a foot thick, and had some other mysterious, large fish circling us the entire time. Near the end we all stopped and knelt on the bottom of the ocean, about 60 feet down, and turn off our lights to play with the bio-luminescent plankton.
The most amazing part however, was when we encountered an eagle ray with a wingspan over six feet, just circling round and round in the water. It was definitely the most beautiful and amazing thing I've seen yet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people the basics of skateboarding, how to construct basic structures out of wood, how to cook some things, and how to grow some foods.
I'd like to learn more Spanish and some french, in addition to as much as I can about growing food sustainably, building community and making the world a place where we would all be ecstatic to live in.
