COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted only and those experiences have been very enriching. I have also swapped messages and information that has proven to be very helpful when travelling.

I have found this to be a great way to get pertinent, local info before the trip!

Interests

First and foremost, I adore nature, animals and people. All kinds of people. Food, wine, health, art, science,theology, architecture, history. I love film, theater and good fiction.

Favorite books include: Pillars of the Earth, Bel Canto, Shadow of the Wind, The Art of Racing in the Rain, Half Broke Horses,The Help, Secret Life of Bees.

My favorite movies include 'Love Actually' and 'A Good Year'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the stars fall from a clear black sky into a snow white horizon while riding my horse at midnight on a fresh snowfall.

I have kayaked into caves whose ceilings are lined with sea urchins and sand dollars frozen in time in the sandstone.

I have seen a baby born.
