About Me
Hi! 🦑 Call me Squidz. I'm a sojourner living in Japan, can you tell I'm new to surfing?
I haven't lived in Japan long, I'm still thrilled every day to be experiencing the world outside my home country.
I'm newly married, I love trying new things, and I love to see people in their flow zone and share in others joy. Show me why you love where you live!
I am very easygoing and flexible. 😊 Happy to hang with hosts and do my own thing.
When I return to the US, my husband Logan and I will be happy to host as we can in our van or wherever we live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in traveling east Asia while I live in Japan. Maybe come stay with me sometime if you wanna see Tohoku and don't mind I work a teachers schedule. I want to exchange culture and make memories with people all over the world. Let's get weird ✨

Music, Movies, and Books
EDM is my favorite music, I'm learning to flow. I love pretty much everything honestly. Punk, jazz, bubblegum anything, riddim, future bass, math rock, bro idc long as it's good. Or bad. Or so bad it's good. I'm not picky.
I love Arrival, Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Shape of Water, Moonrise Kingdom, Princess Mononoke, Superbad, Emperor's New Groove, more to come when I remember what I like because I like everything. It's true, ask my husband.
Fav books are The Time Travelers Wife. Stuff by Kurt Vonnegut, or Isaac Asimov. Japanese fiction.
Teach, Learn, Share
