An Indian born and raised in Dubai, UAE, I’ve suffered an identity crisis all my life.
I am liberal and not religious! Puppies and waffles are my kryptonite.
I studied architecture in Bangalore, India and worked in Dubai for 2.5 years after. I went back to India to work for an NGO and now I am in Barcelona for my masters in urban development!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from different cultures and learning about their lives and their homes! I doubt there is a better platform for this cultural exchange!
Also google won't tell you things that locals do, so seeing the city through their eyes is something I am really looking forward to.

Books: i usually read non fiction, favorites include 1984, tuesdays with morrie, princess, reason for hope, descent of man, animal farm, born a crime

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sneaked into a refugee camp in Europe for research work. They dint stop me at the gate because I am brown. Take that racism!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach someone to cook indian food! I am open to learning anything new!
