I am uptight and narrow minded; if you are different from me I have no interest in understanding you or hearing about your culture. I'm also weak, fickle, insincere, and lack integrity. You should meet me, or at least send me a marriage proposal.

You should know I have the largest collection of cabbages in Europe and am clumsy and cold hearted. But here I am boasting! We have recently moved to Kent and are looking to meet new people, preferably friendly ones. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am one of those scumbag 'new wave' of CSers who use the site but don't offer a couch. For now I would love to meet up with people for coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began to be involved in a fake couchsurfer way in January 2009. I went to weekly meetings but not every week. But since 2011 I started really 'couchsurfing' when I CSed in distant places like Dordrecht and Den Haag. Since then I can't get enough; I've CSed in Prague for New Year, Lille in the spring, then Austria, then Paris, then Hungary and who knows where next. I have never had anyone to surf my couch but I have met up with people for coffee with varied success. I have made some great friends and some crap friends, had many wild nights out, wine tasted, lazed on the beach, learnt to dance, practiced languages, canoed and had loads of fun with the people I have met through CS.
I moved to Rotterdam in 2009 and CS made the experience of moving to Rotterdam from abroad a much warmer, friendlier and happier experience. I met many fabulous people and had loads of fun.
My dear boyf has never heard of CS before.
Now we live in Gillingham, Kent and the CS community seems like a ghost town here but we live in hope...

Interests

Playing an out-of-tune-piano with keys missing, going to live music shows (whether it be a tango band, Russian gypsy music, classical or something more commercial), staring out of the window for hours daydreaming, thinking about travelling, making clothes, meeting new people, running (through interesting countryside), food, films, socialising, food, going out for a dance, salsa, food, whisky (but only the good stuff), lying on the sofa wrapped in a duvet when it's cold outside and there is more...so much more...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like funny films and HATE horrors - so don't try to show me any. I like novels with not a lot of description in them. I like many types of music including indie music and dancy, happy stuff like Blur but the list goes on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazingly I fell down a cliff and landed on my feet! Yay! (not the first time I have landed on my feet in an unlikely situation).
