ABOUT ME
I'm just another gal who tries not to get too lost in the hustle and bustle of metro L.A. I was born and raised in the U.S. and have lived most of my life in Southern California. I have to make an effort to keep a balance between work and fun, since working (and the paycheck that comes with it) is what allows me to have the fun I seek :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One day, I will have something to write here.
EDIT (7/7/14): I do have something to say here now :) I hosted two surfers at different times during a holiday weekend and I had a wonderful time with each of them!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'm not much of a movie-goer, but I tend to prefer independent movies over Hollywood blockbusters (will make an exception for the upcoming biopic about WWII hero Louis Zamperini - RIP.
Music: mostly electronica, dance.
Books: I enjoy memoirs and biographies. Haven't read anything recently, though :(
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran through the town of Santa Rosa, CA, at 2 o'clock ... in the morning! It was part of the Ragnar Relay Napa Valley (the first of five times I would run Ragnar ...). I did not see any other runner either before or after me the entire time, but for some reason I wasn't too worried about it. I usually run with an mp3 player, but I left it in the van and just enjoyed the quiet. And the starry night was incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can definitely help foreigners with their English skills if desired, as I am an editor by profession.
Learn: wine tasting, wine tasting, wine tasting ... how do people identify different things off a sniff of wine??
Share: Interested in jogging with me along the Shoreline path? Or in Signal Hill? (I'm not a fast runner at all, BTW, so I may have to keep up with YOU!)
