Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Bad jokes and doughy pancakes. Travel tips. Improvised anything. I host when I can, but usually I don't when I can't. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've surfed across China and hosted some really amazing surfers. I've joined couchsurfers on adventures along frozen rivers and shattered temples and the backstreets of Beijing. Also the frontstreets of Dubai. And some middle streets in a few other places.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Waiting atop Mount Kinabalu for sunrise for over an hour, and being rewarded with a full double rainbow across the summit.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've studied a whole bunch of economics and at least a few languages. I've collected several random tidbits of knowledge that over the last couple decades, and I like to keep myself at least pretty versed in world news and politics.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Anything! Great stories, curious trinkets, recipes for lentils, secret handshakes.
