to make the world's cities more convenient for pedestrians and cyclists – my tools for change now are shared e-bikes and e-scooters

earlier I was working for the city of St.Petersburg, being responsible for cycling infrastructure projects. we had our first bike lanes built in 2017. before that I founded and managed a low-tech low-cost bike-sharing service in several cities in Russia: medium.com/cafebike-bicycle-sharing/the-simplest-bike-sharing-system-is-ready-for-launch-in-your-city-375d1c4a1bb2. for some time i was active with local St.Petersburg cycling NGO: velosipedization.ru - all of the above happened after i put on hold my corporate career in november 2015, to follow my dream of making St.Petersburg a cycling city!

ABOUT ME

not travelling but moving in the world feeling at home everywhere - hitchhiking through the desert in iran, sailing around the aland islands or cycling from paris to bilbao, mountain ararat or kremlin from my office window.

travelled a lot with CS. hosted a lot when I had a large appartment in downtown Yerevan, Armenia.

learned a lot from my guests in Yerevan, mostly the travellers crossing the Asian continent by bikes/cars/hitchiking.
