CURRENT MISSION

To have amazing experiences, bask in the wonder of the world, get muddy and dirty, and then swim in the river; to go clubbing and learn how to be a girl, to climb trees and rip my dress, and drink coffee while I'm doing it. And maybe figure out who I am.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student, going to school to put off deciding what to do with my life (that's not working out so well, apparently you're supposed to declare a major or something like that?!). I just want to experience everything that I can. I don't know much, except that I don't know anything except what I know, somewhere deep inside me, is true. Problem is, finding words for that something is ridiculously difficult. I'm addicted to coffee, I love sleeping, and I can be shy around new people. I want to travel the world, but first I'm trying to talk my parents into believe that's safe. Family is important to me, though I live with two roommates currently, and only see my family once a month or so. Except one of my older sisters, she lives next door to me, so I can keep her in line. I love kids, because they're so fresh and honest. I want meet new people and learn all about YOU!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an Orthodox Christian, and strongly believe in my faith. However, I am also intrigued by other philosophies. I'm trying to decide (it's impossible to say this without sounding suicidal, but I'm not, I swear) what exactly the point to living is. At this point, I think it's to connect with other people, to appreciate beauty, and to understand the world. I live through feeling, and believe that emotions are just responses to the feeling that is always present. My thoughts are just attempts to make sense of my feelings and emotions, but I do believe I am a rational person.

I don't know much about CS, but I'd love to get involved, so please feel free to contact me in any regard.

Hopefully, I can participate more in the CS project as I understand more about it, and about how to get involved. If I'm doing something wrong, or offend somebody, please let me know!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always wanted to travel, and a couple months ago decided to make it real, despite my parents' worries. I'm spending this summer in Spain as an au pair, which I'm uber excited about. As in, jumping out of my skin excited about. It's not through CouchSurfing, but it's travel, and that's as close as I have for now!
