About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Save the world one plant at a time, learn and share, see more of the world;
ABOUT ME
I plan daily educational tasks for some wired 6th grade middle schoolers to learn about science; my eveings are shared with Cian, my poodle, and my really great next door neighbors, Alex and Terry; gardening, camping, volunteering in environmental endeavors; watching movies; sharing time with my daughter, Donacha, and sharing my house with my son, Marcus; watching them develop into responsible adults; reading books, using my GPS to find hidden simple treasures;
PHILOSOPHY
Why can't we just all get along? Accept others for what they are and don't try to change them; We are NOT the most important item on Earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just joined through the knowledge of a friend whose daughter in New York City has used the service to Host and find couches; will do more as I learn more about what to do;
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've offered my home to foreign visitors through Internation Education Institue; as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, other volunteers used my home as their home away from home; I've had good experiences and bad with letting people stay with me; some join in and help with the daily tasks, some steal and you never see them again; My house is still open;
Interests
reading, garding, outdoors, listening to others; bringing plants to life, watching things grow; visiting the world; camping, hiking, walking; breathing fresh air;
