About Me

** Please read all personal and home description before sending requests, anyway is not that long :). Be sure that home rules fit with you. If you won't read all, I'll see that. **

CURRENT MISSION

Understanding ourselves related to the world around and finding ourselves in each place of it.

ABOUT US

Stefano: Thinking too much. That's for sure one of my main problems! But it always pushes me for trying something new and constantly research. I think to be friendly but in the same time I'm very independent and I always need time for myself. I love food and everywhere I go I always want to try typical dishes! I like very much walking, going everywhere, and try to visit alternative places of each city.

I share my life with Vitalija, my girlfriend, going through every difficult and happy moment together.
We mainly speak English with each other, but sometimes it could sound more like a mix of Italian, English, Lithuanian and Russian.

PHILOSOPHY

A constant search for meaning in everything. Learning to trust the Universe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When we are traveling we always try to get in touch with the host, being a respectful and sharing our story, as well as listening to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stefano: In 2013 I went for a trip in Tallinn-Helsinki-Stockholm-Riga only by Couchsurfing. It was the first time and it has been amazing! I felt really in contact with local life and met very interesting people.
Since then, I had a tour of Poland, visiting very nice people, and later I hosted my Tallinn couch.

Later on, we visited Paris together and it was our first experience as couchsurfers together. And we continued doing it in India. :)

Interests

Stefano: I really enjoy watching movies and I have a big interest in reading, especially when it comes to philosophical and existentialist topics .
I love music, as it can give one of the deepest feeling we can experience. I grow up with punk and new metal and then I entered in the underground electronic scene, first with drum&bass, then psytrance, then chillout and ambient music, which I really love right now!
I like hiking and if there is a hill or a mountain in front of me, I'd definitely want to reach the top of it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult to pick one, but for now we'll suggest you to read The Schopenhauer Cure, by Irvin Yalom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stefano: Skydiving - still looking forward to repeat the experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Just to mention, we are vegetarians for some years and now practicing more vegan cuisine. If You are still not, it is not a problem - feel free to express Yourself. :) We like to learn how to prepare new dishes! Food is important and it deserves the right attention.
