Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Magdalena! Being an English, French, and German as a Foreign Language teacher, I am of course passionate about languages and cultures! I believe that culture and language cannot be separated from each other. I want to teach authentically, and I think that travelling to English and French speaking countries is essential in order to do so! I lived and traveled in English and French speaking countries for two years, but I am of course also interested to know more about your home country especially if I haven't been there!
Another passion of mine is food and drink. I am always ready to exchange recipes or to cook for friends and couchsurfers. I worked in a French restaurant during my studies and lived in France for a while, so French cuisine is definitely my favorite, but I am interested in getting to know your favorite meal too.
I also really enjoy being out in nature. I love hiking!
I am currently working as a teacher in a high school in the city center of Augsburg and really busy with my job. However, I don't want to stop hosting because it enables me to travel without having to leave my home. I will try to show you around at night or at least share a meal with you after school.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the most profound way of travelling for me. Getting to know a culture from the inside perspective of a local while experiencing other ways of living is just priceless.
Chez moi, couchsurfing me permet de voyager sans me déplacer.
