My name is Stepan. I'm originally from Russia, where I grew up for 6 years, then moved to Switzerland (for 8 years), England (for 3), Portugal (5) and now living in the Netherlands for the last three

Busy bartender with a passion for travel. I live a typical student life, working a lot, and studying when there is time. Travel allows me to get inspired and meet new people, which is think is essential for a rich life experience.

Philosophy: Every moment I expand into the authentic, most earth quaking, magical version of myself and it’s always the smallest moments that ripple out the brightest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to couch-surf my way and meet as many interesting and different people as possible. I've had two CouchSurfing experiences before in Scotland and they were amazing (check my references!) and now two more 💪🏻

Should you host me, I would be eager to learn about your hometown, culture, story and spend and have a great time.

I'm pretty independent by nature, so we can definitely find a balance between hanging out and me exploring.

- Completed a Thai cooking course in Bangkok
- Climbed Arthurs's seat in Edinburgh
- Met many many new friends in Barcelona
- Sailed down the Douro in Porto
- Watched the blossoms and studied Japanese in Tokyo
- Stayed in one of the corner rooms of Times Square
- Made 1000 cocktails at a festival in Amsterdam
- Visited the Royal Mummy Room in Cairo
- Skied off the top of a glacier in Gstaad
- Woke up on the nose of a boat at sunrise in Sardinia
- Lived in a little village near Thessaloniki with a Greek family
- Club hopped in Le Marais, in Paris
