About Me

I am 18 years old and currently doing a one year long exchange program which is intended to foster and support social and cultural development here in Chile.
My work as a volunteer consist of two projects:
Firstly I work with addicted, homeless people trying to rehabilate their lifes and finally reenter the society and secondly I work with adolescents, which live in vulnerable areas, trying to help them improve their situation and the community spirit in general, by the means of playing football.

Nevertheless I love to travel and experience the nature and culture in its entirety aswell and believe that connecting with people from all over the world is the best way to diminish prejudices and grow concerning oneselfs personality

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me travelling not only implies getting to know new cities and great places but also the people who actually make the place what it is.

Meeting locals, who know what's up in the city and have an entirely different perspective on the things than I as a traveller, can change the journey from a turist vacation into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Furthermore I believe that Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with people by other means than money, which often times limits the travelers experience

Music, Movies, and Books

I basically listen to every type of music, while my favorite types are:
Punk, Rock, Alternative, House, Latin and Raggae

Concerning movies I love everything, which confers a profound meaning, is critical and makes the spectator think about the matter. Nevertheless I cannot name my one favorite movie.
Hence I also like the literature which deals with a revolutionary idea or questions every day's concern.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked through the rainforest of the Island Chiloe and spent a night on the beach of Cole Cole.

I went surfing at Huntington Beach, California, and at "La Puntilla" in Pichilemu, Chile.
