Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Looking for alternatives from hotels, RV places... Some of the best experiences of my life were when I was living in group settings (hostels in the South Pacific or in the Army, etc...). I believe you have a greater (and more fufulling) relationship with an area when you meet with locals or others who want to be where you are.
