About Me

My story started in Provo, Utah and has taken me around the globe since that point. Before the age of 13 we lived in 3 different states and 5 different countries. We settled down while I was in high school but I have since continued the traveling trend since graduating. I guess you could say its in my blood.

I'm currently a manufacturing engineering student at BYU. I also work part time at Action Target building shooting ranges. I love to travel and experience new cultures. I'm not a mainstream traveler. I would much rather see the everyday side of a country instead of the tourist side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for two reasons. First I think it will be a better way to get to know the community and culture of where ever I'm visiting and I love getting to know new people. Second I'm passionate about travel but I don't have a lot of money, being a student and all. Couchsurfing will help me travel on a budget. It would also be bonus to find a travel partner for my trip to Europe in April.

Music: Folk/Indie style music (Bronze radio return, Bon Iver, etc.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dedicated two years of my life to serving the people of Australia at my own expense. I was there to witness some of their worst flooding in decades. It was incredible to see how the community came together when disaster struck. Those two years helped me realize the happiness that service brings.
