Xin Chow! I am an English teacher in Tu Son, Bac Ninh Province. If you would like to experience real Vietnam with no tourists and no hassle, feel free to stay with me! Within a fifteen minute drive of my house there are two of the oldest Pagodas in Vietnam. Bac Ninh Province is the birthplace of Buddhism in Vietnam! Bac Ninh is a small developing city, while I live in Tu Son a small town between Bac Ninh and Hanoi. All around the area are small villages where you can experience village life in Vietnam. The people here are very friendly and curious about foreigners so you will be sure to feel welcome!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
In June 2017 I completed a ten day vipassana meditation course in Myanmar. I meditated for 100 hours in silence. It was very challenging but incredibly rewarding and an amazing way to experience Buddhism.
