About Me

Lastly lived in Kenya past 14 years with a Kenyan family in village with whom started rural Homeopathy clinics. Previously been mainly in UK. Parted from Russian wife because we wanted different things in life. For full 10 years delivered cars (driving them) all over the UK, whilst doing part-time course in Homeopathy. Have had my trials and learnings from personal illness and close contact with others with health challenges.
In Kenya have orientated and hosted numerous volunteering homeopaths from around the world, staying for weeks or months. My experience in Kenya in 1980's woke me up from the Maggie Thatcher voter I had been. Lately have had a lot of insights and feel my personal development is in a new phase of consolidation.
Am poised to take new life steps... training in Hypnotherapy in Italy in July 2017 and most likely to return to UK in a few months thereafter...to live with/look after my 88yr old Mum. My longterm intent is to return to Kenya and be involved in creation of Wellness Centres, and even Cancer Centres

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have Uk friend here in Kenya, a couchsurfer hosting international visitors, and who has been 'on couches' in Europe. So I have heard about it and am attracted to all elements involved in it. I have learnt to live with, and be at peace with, a certain internal solitude in Kenya, but I am feeling in gear to get out and mix and share more with new people.
I am signing up for couch-surfing now, as things are in a great state of flux, and with limited money (my Kenyan salary is less than £100 per month) I really need some assistance with temporary accommodation
My Mum is in an Abbeyfield Home in Wendover, Bucks, UK. My sister and family move from High Wycombe, Bucks to Exmouth Devon soon. Mum and I plan find place in Exmouth too
