Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in traveling more in the near future, and my brother, who has traveled extensively, recommended Couchsurfing as a way to meet cool people in new places.

Interests

Playing Music (accordion) Fishing, Camping, Boating, ATV's, Snowmachines, etc. and when it gets too cold: Nerd T.V., Movies and long distance computer games with my brother.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of music and enjoy most everything except songs that I have just heard one too many times.
When it comes to movies, I like sci-fi/fantasy, comedy, and animated films. And the Muppets. Horror movies give me nightmares.
My taste is pretty much the same for books, and I read a lot of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let's see... Last year I built a special prosthetic leg for use with a swim fin, went to Maui, and went scuba diving with it for the first time. It was awesome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have had a lot of amazing experiences here in Alaska over the years, and am always happy to swap good stories.
