About Me
My wife and are self proclaimed, frugal, vegan, artsy, minimalists. Could we be more precocious?
We live in a 200 square foot home on 10 acres of land and we dream of building a Micro-Home Intentional-Community for artists and creatives.
We have a dog, Gumbo, and a blog, simplesweetspot.com.
We would love to meet you, cook for you and see the place you call home.

Music, Movies, and Books
We are MAJOR film peps. We go to the movies AT LEAST twice a week and see everything that comes to the silver screen.
Wifey LOVES to read mostly suspense and thriller films, Dan Brown all day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought 10 acres of land in cash to start our intentional community.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Currently we don't have much in the way of space, we live in about 200 square feet, so space is limited. We are working on building a few cottages on the land but as of now, the best we can do is a campsite with fire-ring and composting toilet. We have a small solar package available for charging items and fresh water on the land for hauling to your campsite.
With this said, I love to cook vegan and specialize in various vegan proteins, I even run a side business selling my creations. I'm a county Tourism Ambassador and a member of the city Arts and Culture Steering Committee, so I'm often aware of a lot of art, music and community events in the area and can often manage to get tickets to events. I can offer free movie tickets most nights to our local theater and always love a good movie conversation over tea and a good trail hike or ramble with a dip in Lake Ontario or one of the many local streams. Of course I'm always happy to make suggestions for restaurants and local attractions.
