About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figure out what being an adult is really about.

ABOUT ME

I'm a newly minted pharmacist that hails from the suburbs of DC in northern Virginia. School has taken over most of my life for the past couple years, but I love to do outdoorsy things like camping and hiking in my spare time. During breaks, I enjoy traveling to new places and meeting new people. In the past few years, I've had the opportunity to visit Alaska, Pittsburgh, Denver, San Francisco, Knoxville, and Nashville.

I'm currently selling drugs at a big chain and hopefully making somebodies life better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people! I just wish I had more opportunities to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed before while campaigning for a certain politician. I slept in strangers' houses and schools. It was a very humbling experience where I met people from all walks of life. The most memorable person I stayed with was a retired teacher in a rural town in South Carolina. She cooked me a delicious southern meal, and I helped her with some maintenance around the house. She talked about her family and life experiences, and it was just so interesting to hear about all the experiences she had been through in her life. I met some of my closest friends during this trip that I still keep in touch with to this day.

Interests

Work takes up most of my time, but when I have free time, I love to read, hang out with friends, and travel.

I was lucky enough to be involved in a two year program in undergrad that focused on the environment and sustainability. Although I studied biology and am now in a health professional program, I know that a damaged environment will lead to unhealthy people. I make sure I'm informed about the issues and try to incorporate them when I provide health care.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm totally into scifi books and movies, I love things that are entertaining but also force you to think and reflect. I try to read when I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped build a trail on National Trails Day! I love to hike and volunteered to clear a trail that day. Exhausting work but it felt great others could enjoy the finished product.
