About Me

ABOUT ME

I am currently living and studying spanish in Medellin, Colombia. I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada...did my Undergraduate studies in Pennsylvania, USA while playing collegiate golf. Got a chance to travel all over the midwest and southern USA going to tournaments which was incredible. Since graduating in 2008, I worked in banking with HSBC for several years, attempted to start a couple non-profits, made a living playing poker for about a year, then finally landed on law school in sunny Arizona. After finishing law school last year, I decided to move to Medellin, Colombia, and it has been truly amazing here.

PHILOSOPHY

My favorite quote in the world is this, from Richard Branson:

"My interest in life comes from setting myself huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them...from the perspective of wanting to live life to the full, I felt that I had to attempt it"

I see so many people who go through life miserable and unhappy and it just doesn't make any sense to me. Life was meant to be lived happily, every day.
