I manage projects in international development for variuos donors, so I travel a lot and can be anywhere between the UK and Fiji. I have a lot of interests, but really enjoy the outdoors. I am a voracious reader but enjoy good company and good food. My main hobby these days seems to be learning languages, I can scrape by in about 6 so far.

To meet interesting people as I travel, I don't always need the couch :-)

Too many interests to mention: I want to try everything. I have engaged in parachuting, gliding, aerobatics, rock and ice climbing, horse-riding, yachting..... the list is rather long and will not get shorter

Classical music of all genres, but also modern ( but can't stand rap). Books - have a couple of thousand at home, mix of non-fiction and classical literature, plus poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Set up a farm for a psychiatric hospital: working with animals is good therapy and got the patients off the wards.

I can share a lot of experiences and am willing to learn. Teaching is by communication, not a formal process
