Like biking, jogging, all sorts of sport, music, bars, pubs, good food & wine & beer, going to concerts. I would consider myself as open-minded but not very outgoing, well organized and chaotic, lazy and hyperactive. On my safari in Tanzania I shared a tent with Chris, arround 55 years old from Hawai. He described me in his mail diary as follows: Stefan, like me, was traveling alone and hails from Berne, Switzerland. I was really surprised when he mentioned that he was forty-four years old as I would have pegged him at no more than thirty. At first glance he has that slightly stoic, somewhat serious look that is not uncommon for a Swiss or a German, but right below the serious surface is an inquisitive, highly intelligent, well travelled young man and I thoroughly enjoyed every single second we spent together. A great conversationalist and an all-around swell fellow. As he and I were single travelers we shared a tent during the week.
