About Me

Friendly, enigmatic and extrovert! I love to get involved in new experiences, and try my hand at many different disciplines. Currently, much of my time is spent running the YouTube Channel 'Stu’s Reviews’, where I present a show that uses situational comedy to test products and services in an engaging and humorous way. Check out the channel here;

As well as this, I love producing and creating films, and have had films screened at festivals in Denmark, Switzerland and the UK.

On a more personal note, despite being in the public eye for Stu’s Reviews and my films, I appreciate the solitude of nature, so my house is deep in the mountainous Welsh national park known as the Brecon Beacons. I have two Rough Coated Collies (Lassie dogs), whom I love very much but leave a horrendous amount of hair all over the house. In this solitude, I make my own wine from scratch using orchard fruits, which often turns out extremely strong and has lead to some merry nights indeed!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people on travels and sharing stories with them. I love to learn new things and get involved with experiences that I have no knowledge of! Couchsurfing is a great conduit for this, and has given me plenty of experiences with hosts/guests already that I am eternally grateful for!

Music, Movies, and Books

My love of creating films means that I can appreciate all genres of films! Its probably easier to say that my least favourite genre is ‘Romantic Comedy’!

As for music, I am equally open, listening to Hans Zimmer one minute, then tuning into some Skrillex the next.

I don’t read much modern fiction, I’m more fond of stories from classic science fiction such as those by Jules Verne and H.G.Wells. Although if I had to say who my favourite modern author would be, it would have to be either Wilbur Smith or Clive Barker.
