About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel around the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirited, fun loving person. I love making friends and having good conversations. I like parties and festivals, in fact I'm a bit of a festival junkie. I love reading and finding out about things like cultural history, politics and current affairs, the universe. I love finding out about the history of the countries I go to and reading books about them while I'm there. I also love mixing with the local people of the places I visit. I'm a mix between a bit of a geek and a party girl. I love organising social events. I used to be an event organiser in London and a party organiser in Cambodia. I loved being the center of attention and then getting all the praise for everything :)) I'm a bit of a social butterfly, I always know everyone after a while of being in a place. I'm really interested in everything really, that's why I love meeting all types of random people and hearing their stories. I think you can learn a hell of a lot that way :)

PHILOSOPHY

I like to find out about injustices that go on in the world and then try raise awareness of them in others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't really participated yet, because I'm a beginner I haven't really had a chance to get into the community. But as soon as I find out more about it I will I promise!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only really couch surfed on my friends sofas since I've been in Australia. That was fun but since then I've been staying in a hostel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh lots, erm favourite book is probably Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. I also like A Million Little Pieces, The God of Small Things, erm loads and loads I can't think of right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked the Himalayas, Skydived, helped a community of people on a remote island to get health care and set up a waste disposal system.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about the history of Australia, I've already been doing some research on it and can share what I have learned so far. I'm also really intersted in the history of the other places I've been to and places I haven't been to so I would like to share info on that. Also politics, I used to be heavily involved in a lot of politics so I'm always interested to learn more or to teach people what I know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Laos, Nepal, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam
