About Me

I'm a very open minded person and I really love to get to know people from everywhere. My personality is actually hard to describe. Some friends call it something between interesting and strange. But one thing is for sure, I don't consider myself a typical German ...so be warned :D

The rest is up to you to find out!

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is just an Illusion built upon a pillar called hope"
I don't really remember if I caught up that phrase from someone else or if I really thought it up by myself - It's just I like it because of it's philosophical touch!

Don't take anything too serious. As long as you have faith in yourself and what you do, even the worst things might resolve one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Probably one individual among many that wants to help keep that great CS-Community alive. I simply love to get to know people around the world and learn more about their culture. Furthermore I want to expand my culinary horizons.

Interests

Baseball, Soccer, Windsurfing, Badminton, Bowling, Clubbing, Beachvolleyball.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific taste in music or to say, a favourite genre. I listen to everything that has a great tune or unique lyrics. But one thing is for sure, when I'm at the club I prefer Electronic Music!

All-Time-Favorite-Song:
Filter feat. The Crystal Method - Trip Like I Do

All-Time-Favorite-Karaoke-Song:
Linkin Park - In the End

To my shame, I have to admit that I am lazy about reading. But when a book manages to captivate me, I read it very quickly - one was "1984" from George Orwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing up Mt. Fuji and not to be able to see the sunrise, because of the bad weather :D

Teach, Learn, Share

It's all about giving and taking. I would like to expand my knowledge and broaden my world view.

And if you are willing to listen and seriously interested I have a lot to say and talk about :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I have the time I can show you around and introduce you to the best japanese restaurants. I also like to cook for my guests and exchange recipes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, China, Cuba, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States
