I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is more meaningful when shared with people, not just places. Hotels give comfort, but staying with locals brings real connections, stories, and friendships. I also want to create a safe and welcoming space,especially for female travelers, where we can share food, conversations, and everyday life while feeling at home.
Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a literature graduate with a love for both English and Tamil works, and I enjoy stories that make me reflect and feel deeply. I’m drawn to movies that move me and spark conversationsmy all-time favorites are Shutter Island, The Color of Paradise, and Life is Beautiful. I also love music with meaningful lyrics songs that feel like poetry set to melody. Books have always been my constant companions, from classics to contemporary voices, especially those that explore human emotions and different ways of living.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of the most magical moments of my life was hiking to a mountaintop and standing at eye level with a cloud pouring rain. Like everyone else, I’d only ever seen rain from below,but this time I watched it fall from the cloud’s belly and then drift toward me until I was inside the rain itself.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share how to cook delicious South Indian dishes, bake cheesecakes in a convection microwave, and do fun hairdos. I also enjoy painting, sewing, and turning thrift finds into little treasures. Learn: I’m always open to learning anything new, whether it’s a skill, a language, or simply a different way of looking at life. Share: I love exchanging stories, laughter, and good food.
